When your Bones and Limbs are Not Right with Recipes

If your hips are splayed and you walk with a limp or your knees don’t work or you have any other musculoskeletal issue including arthritis, your body is not absorbing nutrients correctly. This can be from hip dysplasia from forceps deliveries at your own birth and at your children’s births. To absorb calcium and other nutrients you need to be aware of how you take in nourishment. If you cannot handle good nourishment you will continue to suffer. This can be called anorexia. So, get to the root of this inner issue that probably started when you were a baby in your body roots journal and through your body scans and take in tons of calcium and other vitamins.

If you have an amputation your limb should be able to come back. Do you have ghost pains? See if you can put pressure on the limb and do all of your nutritional, beauty and wellness work, including chair yoga with roots. You are an eternal body. Calcium and vitamin-rich foods for your wellness evolution are tahini, jasmine green tea with honey and greens and cauliflower and sweet potatoes and seeds.

Greens such as collards, kale and swiss chard can be boiled, drained and then you add nutritional yeast, Bragg’s or soy sauce, a little Cholula hot sauce with the wooden lid or Pickapepper sauce, optional tahini, apple cider vinegar and olive oil. Add a can of pinto beans or white beans for Beans and Greens. Serve the greens with sweet potatoes with butter and brown sugar.

Red cabbage is also good. A cabbage salad is red cabbage, shredded carrots, red bell peppers, feta cheese, avocado, cilantro or parsley and apples. Firm tofu is optional. Put sesame seeds, roasted sunflower seeds, flax seeds or everything bagel seasoning on your salad. Dressings are olive or canola oil, rice wine or red wine or apple cider vinegar, Bragg’s or soy sauce. You could also add miso, tahini and or sesame oil. To make a creamy dressing place mayonnaise in a jar with a lid with a little half and half or soymilk, a touch of garlic powder and a tiny bit of Bragg’s or soy sauce and shake until blended. This can be combined with the vinaigrette. You could also use goddess dressing.

Borscht is also very good, that is beets, carrots, onions and red cabbage boiled together in water or vegetable broth. Serve with sour cream. Another excellent nutritional booster (which can release permanent suppositories from birth, surgeries and colonoscopies) is steamed beets, sweet potatoes, broccoli, greens or cauliflower with or without tofu. Other vegetables can be used. Miso tahini sauce is miso mixed with tahini (sesame paste) and water to thin it. Peanut sauce is peanut butter, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil and and water.

A simple hot dish that takes about five minutes to make is frozen corn, sliced mushrooms and baby spinach sautéed in earth balance with shredded cheddar cheese and little salt.

Miso tahini soup can be made by boiling red cabbage, broccoli, carrots, onions, scallions, mushrooms, silken or firm tofu, rice noodles, soba noodles or ramen noodles in any combination. Add red miso and tahini to your bowl when vegetables are cooked and garnish with sesame seeds or gomasio (sesame seeds a little ground with garlic).

Tabbouleh gives you tons of vitamins. That is a cup of bulghur wheat with a cup of boiling water poured over it to fluff it. I like to use a box of tabbouleh mix as well made according to package directions for the nice seasonings in it, such as dried mint, parsley and garlic. Place bulghur in a bowl and add small grape or cherry tomatoes cut in half, parsley, feta cheese, drained chick peas and dress with olive oil, Bragg’s and apple cider vinegar.

Popcorn, especially the red or white or blue Amish kind from Amazon is great with canola or olive oil, nutritional yeast and/or parmesan cheese and a little salt.

Now you’ve done a pretty good job of eating your colors, filling your belly and filling your bowl. Yum! Are your bones starting to sing, yet? Fresh fruit salad is another life changer for nutrient absorption and getting into the flow of the tribe. Probably, when you are done working on a schedule, you should take all your clocks out of your house except one in your main sitting room where you like to write.
