Instruction for Hospitals and Nursing Homes

We have our teams together for our hospitals and nursing homes now with our elders and the most thrown away citizens of our world. We also have our wren facilitators and everyone we need to go into our mental health agencies and crisis stabilization centers to start the Twelve Steps and Wren and the Wren Centers. We are doing well.

These are your instructions if you are on the ground going in to do your wren work in the hospitals and nursing homes:

  • Say, “Bethie needs a cold drink, do you?” to your people when you locate them.
  • Bring small pieces of chocolate like Lindt balls, Hershey’s Kisses, Mexican chocolates and Hershey’s and Dove miniatures. Werther’s Originals, hard candies and orange tic tacs are also fine. So are Altoids.
  • If you are somewhere where tea is available, offer tea.
  • Bring vegetarian food if you want to. All kinds of wraps are great. Cookies, chips and granola bars are also wonderful. So are baggies of trail mix and nuts.
  • Chai is a healing beverage to share.
  • Bring music and a guitar if you want to.
  • You can also bring journals, notebooks and mechanical pencils.
  • Say, I am your advocate and your steward. Can I talk to you about what you need from me to be well and to have everything you need for a beautiful life?
  • Let them ask you questions about yourself. Tell them why you care about their wellness and the wellness of the world. Say this is a hidden activist movement of green citizens around the world. Tell them we are a part of the green revolution.
  • Make sure they know that if they are too hurt to function right now there are beautiful treatment centers that they can live in for six months or more.
  • Some people might be so ill that they can’t speak. They will be in the care of our medical team. So you don’t have to worry about them. They are the next wave.
  • Also, they do not have to stay in the town or state or country that they are currently in.
  • Have a co-facilitator that you can work with on location. Share a way to connect such as a phone number. Keep in touch when you are working. Join together if you need help with anything. One of you consult a lawyer on the team if necessary. Tai will help you with that.
  • If you don’t know who can be your co-facilitator find out on location. People will be going at different times. Someone that wants to lead the site be somewhere people can see you and identify yourself by having a flower. This is the way you can organize into teams. Exchange phone numbers and emails and organize in your location as co-facilitators. Work together with this, friends. It is much better that way.
  • Tell them about Wren and the Twelve Steps of Resiliency and Dakon University.
  • Tell them about the Dalai Lama and Thich Nhat Hahn, our leaders and our sacred fathers.
  • Don’t struggle at all. If they have a script for you leave them alone.
  • Have tons of fun, little green wren. This is your prettiest pen.
